Jason has worked in the healthcare IT industry for over 30 years with experience ranging from Medicaid based HMOs, to consulting companies, to payers (TPAs and insurers).  He has seen the industry from all sides.

He enjoys logic puzzles, which is an essential skill at a healthcare company engaged in simplifying the complex through technology and secure systems.  Jason has always been passionate about taking what may not be “logical” and distilling it into a set of rules based logical designs. That skills set, paired with the close knit, team focused environment has enabled Jason to create success for his team and clients alike.

From day one it was obvious that the focus of the company was not only on the business, but the family and employees.

 Simplifying the Complex: The healthcare industry continues to grow and looks for more and more innovative ways to cut costs.  The base cost of healthcare is increasing at rates that are long term not sustainable.  But within that, there are companies who are taking control of their own spending and working to limit that cost growth while also providing access to quality care.  The big insurers and health plans do not have that in their best interests, the status quo is where they thrive.

Doing this is difficult and complex.  With regulatory compliance on one side, and the entrenched mindset of the industry on the other, coming up with ways to keep costs down creates a complex mess.  As a business keeping that complexity in check, while creating repeatable and reliable processes, is key.

ClaimsBridge’s systems, and their employees, excel at this.  Our system infrastructure was designed for customization at the client level, while maintaining a tight compliance level around shared code.  Between that, and the employees who implement the processes, it allows ClaimsBridge to make the process seamless for the employer groups and TPAs.

Afterwork Pursuits and Pleasures: When he’s not solving puzzles for clients, Jason applies that same skill set to navigate the complexities of his kid’s sports schedules!  He enjoys playing soccer himself, and has been playing regularly with a group of folks for over 20 year.  He enjoys boating and fishing and plans to get back into sailboat racing with his kids in the near future.  He has a lifetime interest in flying, both full size and radio control, and (when time allows), enjoys both of them as well.   (You can also spot him every local airshow!)
